about

Sometimes even the best friendships can turn sour, and finding the strength to stand up for yourself in these situations can be scary. It almost feels taboo to admit out loud that you don’t like someone, and the track ‘Go To Hell’ is all about owning up to those things that you feel like you can’t say (but deep inside really, really want to).

lyrics

LYRICS

I always knew there was something about you
That I didn’t like
Something in the way you patronize me
Something in the way you dramatize everything

I always knew we were making excuses
For the dumb fights
Something in the way we laughed it off
Something in the way it was never really that funny

You never really knew me that well that well
You never really knew me that well in the first place
And now you want me to go to hell
Well you can go to hell

I always knew there was something about us
That just wasn’t right
I can say it now that I hated your guts
And just always tryin’ my best to grin and bear it

You never really knew me that well that well
You never really knew me that well in the first place
And now you want me to go to hell
Well you can go to hell

Just now
I realized
I don’t really need to care for such a bad guy
Finally
I can admit
I was looking for a friend and you were never it
I’m done
Walking away
Owning up to what I thought that I could never say
Cause now I’m not afraid to tell

You never really knew me that well that well
You never really knew me that well in the first place
And now you want me to go to hell
And now you want me to go to hell
And now you want me to go to hell
Well you can go to hell
